Remplissage with Bankart Repair Improves Outcomes – New Study

💡 Key Finding:
We analyzed 80 non-athletic patients with on-track Hill-Sachs lesions and found that adding remplissage to arthroscopic Bankart repair led to better functional outcomes—without increasing complications.

✅ Improved Oxford and Rowe scores
✅ No added risk of posterior pain or external rotation loss
✅ Safe even in lesions previously thought not to need remplissage

This could broaden the scope of remplissage beyond “off-track” indications in selected cases.
